DINGLI — A Maltese family on a day trip to Dingli Cliffs reported being hopelessly lost, despite using GPS and Google Maps.

Il-familja of Pawlu and his two kids set out on a sunny Saturday, excited for some sunbathing and stunning views. However, within minutes of leaving their parking spot, they found themselves discussing whether to turn left at the roundabout or go straight—and where even is the cliff?

”Uwejjah, I thought the cliffs were supposed to be big!” exclaimed Pawlu, who eventually ended up at the local bakery instead. “Now we’re just looking at the pastizzi menu… how did we get here?”

Despite being experts at getting lost in their own neighborhood, the family seemed shocked that they had managed to get confused on Malta’s most straightforward road. “Kemm we have to drive! We’ve been on this same road for ages!” added Pawlu’s daughter, while holding up two maps that were both printed at home.

”Maybe we should have just followed the fireworks; they would have taken us to the right place!”

The family miraculously made their way to the cliffs later that afternoon, only to realize they had parked right next to the main entrance.

At press time, the family was reportedly lost again, but at least this time they had managed to get a pack of pastizzi.
