ST. JULIAN’S — Local fisherman Tumas Micallef claims he has discovered the future of fast food. After catching a plastic bag full of fish during a recent fishing trip, Tumas announced plans to open a new restaurant called ‘Sustainable Fast Food’.

”Mela, who needs fresh fish when you have plastic?” Tumas said, proudly showcasing his catch to a bewildered group of onlookers. “Plastic is the new catch of the day! We have to be trendy, you know?”

New Menu Features

The restaurant will feature an eclectic menu, including items such as ‘Plastic Pasta’ and ‘Recyclable Risotto’. Tumas insists that each dish will come with a side of environmentally friendly guilt.

”If everyone eats here, they’ll feel like they’re saving the planet while indulging in plastic delights!”

Tumas plans to use the plastic from the Mediterranean to create unique dining experiences. “It’s all about giving the ocean a second chance while making a profit, iva?” he added, rubbing his hands together in excitement.

Despite some skepticism from the local community, Tumas remains undeterred. He explained that dying sea life might just become the latest trend.

At press time, local traffic wardens were considering whether labeling Tumas as a ‘danger to public health’ was the correct course of action.
